The Moroccan architectural scene is gearing up to celebrate emerging innovation and creativity with the enthusiastic launch of the 2nd edition of the Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) starting in February 2024. These prestigious awards will spotlight the exceptional achievements of young architects under the age of 45 who will be selected by an exclusive jury.
Launch of the Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) 2024 Edition
Morocco, a land of architectural innovation, will warmly welcome the launch of the third edition of the Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) in 2024. These prestigious awards, bestowed by a prestigious international jury, will showcase exceptional accomplishments designed by young architects, all under the age of 45. The aim is to celebrate emerging creativity and emphasize excellence within the Moroccan architectural community.
Awards and Jury Selection for YMAA 2024
The most deserving architects will receive awards in 16 different categories, along with three special distinctions. Presided over by the eminent architect Fikri Benadallah with Odile Decq, a distinguished French architectural figure, as the guest of honor, the international jury comprises renowned architects who will undoubtedly enrich the evaluation process, and is as follows:

The selection process will unfold in two stages. Mid-year, the nominees’ evening will declare the finalist architects and projects in each category. Finally, on December 12, 2024, the YMAA Awards ceremony will take place in the presence of the finalist architects, senior architects, institutional figures, personalities from the construction industry, as well as those from the arts and culture.

LANCEMENT DES YOUNG MOROCCAN ARCHITECTURE AWARDS (YMAA) ÉDITION 2024
Le Maroc, terre de traditions et d’innovations architecturales, accueillera avec enthousiasme le lancement de la deuxième édition des Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) en 2024. Ces prix prestigieux, décernés par un jury composé d’architectes de renom, mettront en avant les réalisations exceptionnelles conçues par de jeunes architectes nationaux, tous âgés de moins de 45 ans. L’objectif est de célébrer la créativité émergente et de souligner l’excellence au sein de la communauté architecturale marocaine.
PRIX ET JURY SÉLECTIONNÉ POUR L’ÉDITION YMAA 2024
Les jeunes architectes les plus méritants se verront décerner des Awards dans 16 catégories différentes, et trois distinctionsspéciales.

Présidé par l’éminent architecte Fikri Benadallah avec Odile Decq, sommité française de l’architecture, en tant qu’invitée d’honneur, le jury est composé d’architectes de renom qui ne manqueront pas d’enrichir le processus d’évaluation :

Le processus de sélection se déroulera en deux étapes. En milieu d’année, la soirée des nominés déclarera les architectes et les projets finalistes dans chaque catégorie. Enfin, le 12 décembre 2024 aura lieu la cérémonie de remise des Awards des YMAA en présence des architectes finalistes, des architectes séniors, des institutionnels, des personnalités du monde du BTP ainsi celles des arts et de la culture.
